4 Weight loss tips that have worked for me.
I started the Keto Diet on January 10th, 2017 and these past four months have been a quite a learning experience for me. I’m happy to report that I have lost over 27 lbs since then and dropped at least 2 sizes. The following are my top four tips for weight loss that have helped my daughters and I to be successful on this wonderful journey.

4 Weight Loss Tips:
- Drink plenty of water. It helps flush out the excess fat through urine, sweat, and your breath. Try to drink your water between meals, not with your meal because you want to load up on food not water.
- Eat when you get hungry. Listen to your body and if you feel hunger then eat. If you are between meals have a fat bomb or a small snack. There’s no reason for you to go hungry. Once your body goes into ketosis and adjusts to this way of eating you won’t get hungry as fast as before but it’s an adjustment period. Also if you’re getting hungry between meals then most likely you’re not getting enough fat, that is where having fat bombs come in handy.
- Do intermitting fasting. Intermitting fasting is when you don’t have a meal for 12 to 14 hours. This is preferably done at night so you can be asleep through most of the fasting phase. This type of fasting works because you give your body a chance to digest the rest of the food and rest between meals. Also in the time that you are not eating your body is using fat (Ketones) as fuel and that’s when you lose weight, yay!
- Take probiotics. Probiotics help the natural bacteria we already have in our gut to further break down our food. With our past bad eating habits, we have destroyed that natural bacteria in our bodies so taking probiotics helps bring your body back into balance. Take the probiotics with the highest live cultures you can afford.
These are my top four tips for weight loss that have helped us lose weight and continue this diet. A closing tip I would like to leave you with is for you to try not to get to hung up on what the scale says. If you feel good or you see that your clothes is fitting looser but the scale doesn’t reflect any weight loss then don’t sweat it.
For some reason, we tend to lose inches faster before any pounds lost reflect on the scale. Therefore, I personally don’t advise for you to weigh yourself every day. If you don’t see the scale move then we tend to get discouraged so try focusing on other non-scale victories.
