Bulletproof coffee is something I discovered four months ago and when I first heard about it I thought it sounded strange. Who puts butter in coffee anyway?
Fortunately, I am the type of person that when it comes to food I’m willing to try everything at least once. So, I tried it and absolutely loved it!
This coffee is mainly used for people doing a type of low carb high fat diet. The reason for this is because it has a high content of fat and therefore used either as a substitute meal or for days when you don’t get enough fat in your diet.
Either way this coffee is delicious. There are several varieties of how to make bulletproof coffee and the following recipe is the one I make when using it as a meal replacement.

Prep time 5 minutes
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
1 tbsp of sugar free coffee syrup or non-calorie sweetener (optional)
1 cup of coffee 8oz
Combine all ingredients in a blender. (I use the Nutribullet)
Blend for 30 to 40 seconds
Pour into a mug and enjoy!
